Appearance: When he was a kid, Greg was the perfect picture of geekiness. While growing up, he had a plate extender, braces, head gear and a retainer. Now, Greg is known for his crazy and out-there hairstyles. When in the lab, Greg would wear jeans and tee shirts, usually ones advertising a band. Now that he has been training as a CSI level one, Greg still prefers his jeans, but will wear nicer things when out in the field.
Personality: Greg is a personality all of its own. He is almost always making on joke or another. When in the lab, he would blare loud music as he worked, only to annoy his co-workers with riddles when they came for test results. Greg is often funny and easy-going, but when it comes to his work, he takes it serious.
After the explosion, Greg became quiet and reclusive for a while, proving that when dramatized, he can be sullen. Now out in the field, Greg is back to his old self, trying to make light of a situation.
History: Greg grew up a precocious only child with an overprotective mother. He knew at a young age that he liked science, and although friends and family told him science was for geeks, Greg worked to be a scientist. The words of his family came to life as he grew up with braces, and becoming the captain of the chess team.
Not much is really known about Greg’s family. He is part Norwegian, and his grandparents on his moms’ side are Papa Olaf and Nana Olaf.
Academic History: Greg went to Stanford university and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with his degree in chemistry.
Likes: Marilyn Manson, Pink, Blue Hawaiian Coffee, LA Dodgers, Merlot and a rack of lamb
Hobbies: Surfing, scuba diving, numismatics, playing video games
Other random facts: Greg can fold an origami crane, once lived in New York, and he was born with perfect eyesight.
Pets: Since he is always at work, the only pet he has is a beta fish. He once bought two and had them fight each other, and he kept the one that survived.
Role play Sample: He was ready to get out of there. Three hours of processing the scene with a week-old decomp, and then another hour of digging in trash bins was starting to get to him. It wasn’t just the smell either. Greg had stood under the lukewarm water of the locker room shower for three full minutes before getting back to work, so the smell was pretty much gone. No, that wasn’t it. For the first time in weeks, Greg Sanders could finally say that he was exhausted. It was a rare occurance for the young CSI to get tired, but when he did, the whole lab felt the effects. He got cranky and unresponsive, the energy he gave off gone.
“Greg, are you okay?”
Looking up from his seat on the locker room bench, Greg glanced at his boss.
“Yeah, just fine.”
“Alright. Sara is looking for you. She may have found something on your decomp case.”
“Right. Thanks.”
Pushing himself from the bench, Greg slammed his locker shut and made way for the door and to Sara. At least the night was almost over.

I am not one for rules. I don't really like them, but they do establish some boundaries. My rules are easy to understand, and easy to follow. If someone is caught breaking the rules, they will get a warning, and after a second offense, their account will be deleted and they will be banned from the site.
1. DO NOT create an account until your application has been accepted.
2. If playing a cannon character (one of the team members or any character seen on tv) you MUST stay in character at all times. There is the Out of Character category for that kind of talk.
3. While in character, NO CHATSPEAK! For example: LOL, ROTFL, ur, 4 (instead of 'for'), l8er, etc... That is okay when out of character, but not in.
4. Treat everyone with respect. I will tolerate no name calling or berating of anyone else. If you have a problem with another member, pm me.
5. If you have a problem with slash relations (male/male, female/female) and you notice some are roleplaying as such, let it go. Ignore it. If you do not like slash, don't join in on the roleplay.
6. Cursing is allowed to an extent. Every other word does not have to be a curse word, and you really shouldn't call anyone any inappropriate names, even if in character.
7. Have fun with it! This is meant for CSI fans to have their shot at being creative. So have fun.

Banner/Avatar Requests « Result #9 on Mar 25, 2007, 5:25pm »
I love to make banners that can be used in your signature and avatars. I am in college (or University depending on what you call it) and my computer here does not have Photoshop, at least not at the moment. I try to go home every weekend, so I will try to make your item(s) then. Please wait patiently for me to get them finished. If you would like me to make one for you, please read the rules, then fill out the small form for me. If you wish to make your own, follow the rules.
Rules
* All banners must be 600x200. This is by pixels. Many people have slow computers, and if the image is any larger, it is hard to load.
* All avatars or icons can be no bigger than 100x100. Not only is this a Proboards rule, bit mine as well. If the image is larger and it gets shrunk by Proboards, it is hard to see.
* If you are playing a cannon character (the actual team members) then you MUST use the actor that plays them on the show. If it is a lesser known character and you cannot find pictures, let me know before you search for someone else to portray them.
* No nudity or vulgar pictures. Please keep it clean for younger members.
